Job Summary

The University of South Carolina College of Nursing invites applications for a Health Sciences Endowed Professor position. We are seeking a distinguished nurse scientist with a robust research portfolio in maternal child health.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and expand the Perinatal, Pediatrics, and Family Research Center (PPFRC ), contributing to our mission to advance health outcomes for women, children, and families through innovative research, education, and community engagement.

The position includes endowment support, a generous start-up package, and opportunities for collaboration with researchers across the college, university, and external partners.

Required

Education and Experience

* PhD in Nursing or a PhD in a health-related field and a minimum of a master's degree in nursing

* Proven research record in maternal child health

* Established history of federal funding (R01 or equivalent)

* Demonstrated leadership in building and managing a research enterprise

* Commitment to teaching excellence and a vision to enhance the college's national prominence

The selected candidates will join the College of Nursing's research team of junior and senior-level researchers with established research programs.
