Position: Principal (#012053) Tyger River Correctional Institution, Enoree (SPARTANBURG) Level 2
Job Responsibilities

* Under the direction of the Superintendent, administers, manages, and supervises a specifically oriented correctional education school which serves program enrollment of student by utilizing an individual prescribed instructional curriculum, directs all activities involved in the educational programs.

* Performs duties governed generally by road instructions, objectives, and policies and involving frequently changing conditions and problems.

Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Minimum Requirements:

* Must possess a valid South Carolina teaching certificate in administration at the secondary level.

* Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in school administration.
