Assistant Teacher - Preschool Classroom (Ages 3-5)

The Learning Experience, Columbia

Schedule:

9am - 6pm, availability M-F required

Compensation: $14 - $16/hr, Based on experience

We're looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and committed Assistant Teacher to join our Preschool classroom teams. If you love supporting young children as they learn, explore, and grow, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a daily impact.

What You'll Do

* Partner with lead teachers to deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities and routines

* Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment

* Support daily care needs, including diapering, feeding, and smooth transitions

* Build trusting, positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff

* Observe and document developmental milestones and classroom behaviors

What We're Looking For

* Experience working with Preschoolers (ages 3-5)

* Education in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus

* Flexibility to work within the 7:00 AM-6:00 PM schedule

* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

* CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
