Quality Engineer

The company is a privately held contract manufacturing firm of composite material to the industrial, electronics, aerospace, and defense industries. The firm manufactures composite material using resin transfer molding, vacuum bag molding, and autoclave molding processes.

A qualified candidate will have:

• S. Engineering or Applied Science discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Two (2+) plus years of experience in the Quality Engineering/Assurance field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
• Proactive in identifying issues and raising concerns.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Working knowledge of data analysis, analytical interpretation, methodology, and statistical analysis.
• Ability to work independently and function well in a high paced environment.
• Background in ISO
  9001 environment preferred or knowledge of ISO
  9001. Similar quality system experience such as AS9100, ISO
  13485 or IATF
  16949.
• Experience applying SPC techniques is preferred.
• ASQ certification preferred.
