Process Engineer

Job Title

Process improvement and waste elimination

Root cause corrective action activities to eliminate defects

Gather and interpret process data

Design and test innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality

Develop process documentation and operating instructions

Generate non-conformance tickets

Act as lead technical reference for the customer and internal teams

Develop new processes based on customer specifications

Support feasibility studies and participate in Kaizen events

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

• BS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in engineering, preferably aerospace, automotive or industrial gas turbine
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certified
• Thermal coating experience preferred
• NPI or APQP experience required
• Advanced proficiency with Solid Works
• Knowledge of CAM, Robot or CN programming is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems preferred
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints and specifications
