About the role:
As a Technical Supply Chain & Procurement Intern, you will support sourcing, supplier management, quality, engineering, and procurement activities associated with major nuclear energy projects. You will work with engineering, project management, quality, and supply chain teams to help procure technical products and services. You will report to the department manager and be located at our Rock Hill, SC or Columbia, SC facility.
This is a paid full-time hybrid or onsite position for the summer, May
- August 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support supplier identification, qualification, and evaluation activities
- Help with technical reviews of supplier proposals and compliance documentation
- Help with Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages
- Support supplier audits, technical meetings, and design reviews
- Help with manufacturing and process plan evaluations
- Participate in supplier quality and procurement planning activities
- Analyze supplier performance, cost, schedule, and technical data
- Support project teams throughout the procurement lifecycle
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, nuclear engineering, manufacturing engineering or related engineering discipline
- Completed Sophomore year of college
The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
