Job Responsibilities
- Under the direction of Deputy Director of PRRS (Programs, Reentry) directs and manages re-entry programs at institutions.
- Oversees and participates in the decision-making process for other divisions as directed by the Deputy Director.
- Evaluates personnel to ensure compliance with SCDC policies and procedures, as well as state and federal rules and regulations.
- Composes and updates policies and procedures.
- Directs special projects, assignments and prepares special reports.
- Develops working relationships with federal, state and local agencies.
- Develops and maintains relationship with prison industries for the purpose of connecting skilled offenders with employment in the community after release.
- Develop working relationship with community partners to assist released/soon to be released returning citizens.
- Oversees and monitors personal matters.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements
A bachelor's degree and relevant program management experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years relevant program management or correctional management experience.
- Must have ten (10) years' experience in upper management.
Program design/development/Implementation and reentry/community outreach work for offenders Is preferred.
