The orthopedic spine unit is a 26- bed, telemetry capable unit providing specialized care for patients post-operative from spinal surgeries such as laminectomies, spinal fusions, and discectomies. The unit is dedicated to managing comprehensive care including pain management, physical therapy, and mobility support."
RATIO UPTO 1:6 Normally 1:5
Must have STRONG Cardiac Experience
- The units sees some ER overflow patients for Observation and MS/TELE
Prisma Health Floating Policy for Contracted Staff
Prisma Health s goal is to keep staff in their home unit. However, it is a requirement for all assignments that agency staff, regardless of unit or facility, must float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns. Staff will only be floating to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented
