Must-Have:
- Strong cardiac ICU experience, preferably in CCU or CVICU.
- Experience with advanced cardiac devices such as LVAD, Impella, IABP, TVP.
- Proficiency in managing cardiac and medical intensive care patients, including step-down overflow.
- Competence in invasive lines, hemodynamic monitoring, and performing sheath removal.
- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively.
- Experience with post-cardiac surgery and pre/post cardiac catheterization interventions.
Description:
Looking for an experienced registered nurse for the cardiopulmonary ICU.
Candidates must possess strong knowledge and skills in managing complex cardiac conditions.
Experience with advanced cardiac devices and critical care nursing is essential.
Responsibilities include monitoring patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and failure.
Familiarity with ECMO, IABP, and CRRT is required.
Nurses will be responsible for hemodynamic monitoring and managing invasive lines.
Experience in care of ventilated patients and interpretation of arterial blood gases is important.
This role requires adherence to infection prevention protocols and effective wound management.
Teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration are crucial in this environment.
Candidates must be capable of handling a patient ratio of 2:1.
Nurses will need to provide comprehensive care while ensuring safety and comfort for patients.
All candidates should comply with required certifications and have a patient-centered approach to care.
