Description:
Position available for a skilled MRI Tech.
Candidate must have at least 1 year of MRI experience.
Shift hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
Charting experience with Epic is required.
All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.
Facility policies allow for the cancellation of 1 shift every 2 weeks.
Local candidates are not accepted.
Pending licenses are not accepted, and an active ARRT MR license is mandatory.
Proficiency in adult acute care and outpatient settings is necessary.
Competency should cover all age groups from neonates to older adults.
Required imaging skills include chest, abdomen, pelvis, head (with and without contrast), musculoskeletal trauma, and spine imaging.
Experience in contrast media preparation and administration is crucial.
Candidates should be comfortable starting peripheral IVs and adhering to isolation precautions.
Knowledge of imaging equipment, including GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba, is necessary.
Floating may be required as per facility policies.
This position supports interdisciplinary teams and involves interacting with various support services.
Experience with trauma and surgical patients is beneficial.
Candidate must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and healthcare teams.
Adherence to safety and compliance standards is mandatory.
The position entails providing high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient comfort and care.
Documentation and detailed reporting of imaging results are required.
A commitment to professional development and adherence to best practices in MRI technology is expected.
