Did you know R&S is a global leader in Air Traffic Control technology? It's true! R&S secures the communication from the controller's microphone through to the tower's antenna. Join us to learn about real systems deployed throughout global Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) and your part in advancing our products in the U.S. It's your chance to contribute directly to enabling reliable critical infrastructures used in everyday travel and play a crucial role in our international team.

Your tasks

* Expand and create services using internal R&S AI tools to enhance ATC Systems and Test engineering artifacts

* Create and update engineering templates for client-specific needed reuse

* Create and support Confluence templates and style sheets to export artifacts formatted for client delivery

* Continue AI technologies market study evaluating greenfield vs R&S internal AI tools

* Assist with scripting for technical project management using Jira, Confluence, and internal tools to optimize project lifecycle execution

Your qualifications

* - Currently a Jr or Sr

* Will be a summer resident in the Columbia, MD area. We are unable to provide housing or relocation

* Minimum GPA 3.0

* Interest in software and hardware

* Interest and experience in software development, including AI tools

* Basic understanding of data communications (IP networking, voice communications)

* Curious and entrepreneurial attitude

* US Citizen or permanent resident required

This is an hourly position, paying $22-$27/hour, minimum of 30 hours per week.
