Business Analyst – Project Lead

Candidate Requirements: MUST be a South Carolina resident (No relocation allowed) Candidate MUST be able to commute to the Columbia office as needed.
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's Degree with 2 years of Business Analysis experience
Required Skills (Ranked by Importance)
- Strong Technical Writing Experience
- Ability to create clear and effective process flows and diagrams in PowerPoint or Visio
- Ability to identify, map, and document business processes
- Strong Microsoft Office expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple reporting requirements
- Strong schedule management and planning skills
- Experience supporting regulatory compliance projects
- Experience with Technical SOP documentation
- Graphic creation and documentation development in Visio
- 5+ years of Technical Writing experience
Daily Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain policies, plans, processes, procedures, SOPs, desk manuals, and program documentation
- Create and manage process flows and procedural diagrams
- Perform quality control and assurance on program deliverables
- Track progress of statewide agency security assessments
- Identify and report KPIs and operational metrics
- Monitor milestones, deadlines, and activities
- Apply risk, change, and resource management
- Document meetings, directives, and communications
- Deliver professional program updates to DIS leadership
- Track key project milestones and recommend adjustments
- Support regulatory compliance documentation efforts
Scope of Work Includes
- Assessment of statewide shared/common services and security controls
- Assessment of agency-owned services and controls
- Tracking and reporting assessment results at agency, sector, and statewide levels
- Gathering requirements and recommending program improvements
- Developing statewide security policies and procedures
