Scope of the Project:

The Quality Assurance Tester
- Advanced will be assigned to projects for the client, in collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO is responsible for staffing all client projects as well as establishing and monitoring IT related governance and standards, which are followed by all enterprise project teams.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Responsible for performing tests on technical solutions to isolate and solve issues. Initiates tests, analyzes results, and finds solutions to technical problems.

Demonstrate proficiency in client test processes and SDLC tools

Demonstrate ability to translate functional and technical requirements and technical designs into test cases

Develop and execute functional and technical test cases under the direction of test leads and senior testers

Create and maintain SDLC traceability from test cases to requirements and designs/software components;
Assist in generation of requirement traceability matrices

Participate in defect triage, retest, and resolution

Create quality assurance documentation and reports as required

Additional Skills/Duties:

Develop and execute test cases;
Clearly communicate and document test status and defects identified
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, healthcare or related field. Years of experience can substitute for formal education.
2+ years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios
2+ years knowledge of manual testing techniques (functional, regression, smoke, usability, boundary testing)
3+ years deep knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid), business processes

Preferred Skills

Technical and/or Project Management certifications from recognized sources are desirable.
