Compliance Governance Standard Implementation

This candidate will be responsible for implementing a compliance governance standard for a shared services IT organization. We are looking for an expert in developing and analyzing process, implementing standards, measuring results, and technical documentation. Candidate(s) should possess a proven knowledge of process improvement and standards compliance with a strong emphasis in technical writing. Candidate(s) will be responsible for performing a gap analysis in a shared services IT organization to identify areas where processes need to be defined, developed, improved upon, and documented to gain efficiency, standardization, compliance, and consistency.

NIST, IRS Pub 1075, and ITIL process mapping experience will be performed. The candidate will be responsible for tasks assigned in the compliance office such as writing procedures, documenting processes, and coordinating work with various audit and assessment teams. This candidate will also be responsible for working with stakeholders and leadership to enforce the implementation of the continuous improvement efforts.

The ability to work independently and to work outside of the normal work hours, as needed, is required. Previous experience within an IT service organization having federal, state, and/or industry security compliance requirements is preferred.
