Sr. System Testing Analyst II
DP Professionals is seeking a Sr. System Testing Analyst II for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.
Work location:
Onsite in Columbia, SC; will consider hybrid and remote candidates Duration: 6 months
Shift: 8:30AM-5:00PM; possible overtime when needed to meet project timelines.

- TPA Cloud Migration is an exciting new opportunity.
- The new team will be dedicated to migrating application to the CMS AWS Cloud.
- This structure leverages a wide range of skills and expertise, enabling the team to operate across different functions and projects while working from various locations.
- It is a flexible and dynamic approach to team organization that supports agility and innovation in a global business environment.
- Plan and execute test cases for the TPA portal within the CMS Cloud (built on AWS).
- Use Test Rail to manage test plans, track execution, and document results, while Jira is used to log defects and align testing tasks with Agile sprints.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts in daily stand-ups, using Confluence to maintain test documentation, user stories, and release notes.
- Validate application behavior in cloud environments, support compliance testing, and ensure that all updates meet CMS security and performance standards before deployment.
- Complete supportive administrative and lead activities related to cloud testing and collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and continuous improvement.
- This work is essential in maintaining the quality, reliability, and compliance of cloud-based healthcare applications.
- Agile Testing and CI/CD Experience
- Cloud hosted application(s) testing experience
- Identify, track, and manage bugs using Test Rail, JIRA/Confluence, or ALM.
- Testing Tools (e.g., Selenium Grid, JUnit, TestNG, Apache JMeter, SoapUI, and Postman).
- Strong knowledge of lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or cloud migration testing.
- Design, develop and execute test strategies, test cases, and automated scripts for cloud-native, containerized, and legacy applications migrated to AWS cloud.
- Lead functional, regression, integration, system, failover, and performance testing across multi-tier AWS Cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP API testing, SQL, and test automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of test data strategy, version control, defect triage, and test metrics reporting.
- Implement automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub, AWS Code Pipeline)
- AWS Services – EC2, IAM, S3, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Code Build
- Security and compliance testing (HIPAA, FedRAMP, NIST-800)
- 508 / WCAG compliance testing (Burp Suite/OWASP ZAP, WAVE)
- Medicare Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree;
- OR 4 years of job-related work experience;
- OR 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree
- 9 years of IT experience to include experience developing test plans and/or test matrices.
- Understanding Dev Ops practices and helps in managing cloud-based analytics pipelines and deployments.
- Experience with Git Hub Actions, version control, automated testing, and deployment of workflows.
- AWS Services – DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, Artifact
- Adaptability & flexibility: CMS and TPA environments are dynamic, with frequent updates, evolving requirements, and shifting priorities. Quickly adjusting test plans based on new requirements or sprint changes and learning new tools or cloud environments as needed.
