Desktop Analyst

Overview Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 100 firm, is currently seeking a Desktop Analyst to support the firms IT Department. The Desktop Analyst is responsible for managing and supporting desktop, laptop, and VDI environments across the firm. A Day in the Life This role requires executing and maintaining best practices for desktop, laptop, and VDI management, such as software packaging, deployment, patching, inventory management, compliance reporting, license auditing, technical documentation, image creation, and workstation management.

Additionally, installing, testing, configuring, implementing, and documenting software applications supporting all firm operations is part of the role.

We Know You This role requires a Desktop Analyst with over 3 years of experience in a large organization, offering the chance to contribute to the law firm's growth. Essential skills include strong communication, attention to detail, independent work under strict guidelines, and adept prioritization. Advanced technical expertise in Microsoft Windows environments using tools like SCCM, Intune, Power Shell, Active Directory, and Group Policy are a must.

The idea candidate will love a challenge and is willing to learn. Advanced troubleshooting experience with Windows 10/11, along with Power Shell skills, is necessary. Experience working within a large organization with multiple deployments is also required. Legal firm experience is preferred. Light travel may be involved.
