Position: Mecalac Parts & Planning Supervisor

The Parts & Planning Supervisor will lead inventory planning, domestic sourcing, and OEM procurement activities while serving as the primary liaison between factories and internal stakeholders. This role ensures optimized stocking levels, accurate data management, and system-driven process improvements that support aftersales and logistics.

Inventory Strategy & Stocking Levels

· Establish and manage stocking levels for parts and consumables at Fayat Distribution Center.

· Monitor supply-demand trends to ensure parts availability while minimizing excess inventory.

Sourcing & Procurement

· Lead domestic sourcing of parts and consumables.

· Manage procurement of OEM products to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and supply continuity.

· Assist with North American whole goods procurement in coordination with factories and suppliers.

Factory & Systems Liaison

· Serve as the primary point of contact with factories on parts flow, OEM product sourcing, IT systems, and data workflow enhancements.

· Collaborate on logistics coordination, process improvements, and integration of new systems.

Workflow Coordination & Support

· Partner with aftersales and administrative staff to align processes such as warranty handling and parts coordination for service activities.

· Support the aftersales service team by helping facilitate timely identification, sourcing, and fulfillment of parts requirements.

· Ensure systems and data flows support their work effectively without direct supervisory responsibility.

Data Management & Process Improvement

· Ensure accuracy of data reporting for parts, logistics, and aftersales systems.

· Drive system-enabled process improvements, enhancing efficiency and reducing errors.

Customer Service & Sales Support

· Provide customer support through parts sales and parts technical assistance, providing accurate pricing, availability, and estimated delivery information.

· Take and process parts orders from distributors and customers and answering calls as required.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field preferred

· Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, inventory control, production planning, or related field

· Basic understanding of production planning, inventory management, or supply chain principles

· Exposure to ERP/MRP systems or strong ability to learn new systems quickly

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general data analysis

· 3+ years of experience in business operations, administration, or sales support
