About the Position
Job Opportunity – Neuro ICU RN – South Carolina

Schedule:
13-week assignment with 40-hour orientation; 2:1 patient ratio; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Highlights:
Specialized 16-bed Neuro ICU caring for adults and geriatric patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, post-op neurosurgery, and neurovascular interventions
Experience with external ventricular drains (EVDs), lumbar drains, and subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) patients essential
Minimum 1 year Epic EMR experience required
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
Reimbursable pre-assignment modules (up to 16 hours)
Large facility experience with 300+ bed hospital background required
Requirements:
Active RN license with minimum 2 years of recent Neuro ICU experience
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
At least 1 year of Epic EMR charting experience (required)
Strong clinical skills including EVD maintenance, ICP monitoring, ventilator management, arterial line management, and titration of vasoactive drips
Experience with critical care procedures: blood product administration, central line care, procedural sedation, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction
Trauma Level I experience preferred
Must be located 100+ miles from facility to qualify for full travel rate
Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
Willingness to float to qualified units as needed
