Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Operating Room Nurse Opportunity

Seeking experienced operating room nurses to join our team for 13-26 week assignments. Candidates must demonstrate strong skills in ENT, plastics, pediatrics, and be comfortable with night shifts and call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room environment.
• Assess patient condition, prepare them for surgery, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Assist surgical teams with procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure smooth surgical operations.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and travel requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and at least 1 year of recent OR experience.
• Proficient in EPIC EMR system.
• Strong knowledge of ENT, plastics, and pediatric surgeries.
• Ability to work 3×12 night shifts and handle call shifts (including weekends).
• BLS certification required;
  Med Test completion necessary.
• Must be >100 miles from Prisma facilities unless meeting specific exceptions.
