Operating Room Nurse, RN Nurse, Surgical Assistant
Operating Room Registered Nurse (Circulator)
This is a 4x10 hour shift position, working from 06:45 AM to 05:15 PM, Monday through Friday, with one weekday off.
The Operating Room Registered Nurse (Circulator) is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care in the operating room. The ideal candidate will have experience with a wide variety of OR specialties, particularly in Orthopedic and Neuro-Spine surgeries, and possess EPIC charting experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and patient education.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during surgeries.
- Facilitate smooth transitions of care post-surgery.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital operating room setting.
- Experience in Orthopedic surgeries, including Total Joint Replacement and Spine procedures.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- EPIC charting system experience is mandatory.
- Travel experience preferred.
