Registered Nurse ICU

Job Summary:

Provide critical care to adult patients in an LTAC ICU setting, with responsibilities including monitoring, assessing, and delivering comprehensive nursing care during night shifts. Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to organizational policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions continuously and respond promptly to changes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately using EPIC EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an ICU setting.
• Current RN license with active credentials.
• Proficient in EPIC EMR and critical care procedures.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification are required.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to float to other units as needed and perform competently across multiple specialties.
