Job Opportunity – Critical Care Telemetry RN – South Carolina
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Central South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; every other weekend required (subject to need)
Highlights:
- Provide critical care to adult and geriatric patients with life-threatening multisystem and cardiac conditions including sepsis, MI, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease
- Perform advanced cardiac procedures including vasoactive drug administration, antiarrhythmic therapy, thrombolytic therapy, defibrillation/cardioversion, and thoracentesis
- 20-bed unit with average daily census of 14 patients; 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio on day shifts
- EPIC EMR system utilized; 24 hours of orientation provided
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, and Phlebotomy
- Float requirements to like units or other facilities based on organizational need
Requirements:
- Active South Carolina RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of progressive care or critical care telemetry experience (1 year experience considered based on qualifications)
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
- Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, cardiac telemetry monitoring, and EKG
- Experience with cardiac patients receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation
- Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the contracted facility
