Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, LTAC Medical-Surgical / Telemetry – South Carolina

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Every other weekend required, with additional weekends based on unit needs. 24-hour orientation provided.
Highlights:- Long-term acute care (LTAC) setting focused on medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Patient ratio of 5:1 across all shifts
- Epic electronic medical record system; minimum 1 year Epic experience required
- Omnicell medication management system
- Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
- Floating required based on census and unit operational needs
- Active South Carolina RN license
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in LTAC Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, Medical-Surgical, or Progressive Care Unit settings
- At least 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers considered based on clinical experience
- Charge experience preferred
- Current flu vaccination required (no exemptions available)
- Must meet distance requirements for travel positions (typically 50-100+ miles from facility locations)
This LTAC position offers the chance to provide comprehensive care to medically complex patients requiring extended hospitalization and rehabilitation. You'll work alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary team caring for adults and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses including cardiovascular conditions, respiratory disorders, neurological injuries, and complex wound care needs. The role provides an excellent opportunity to apply advanced clinical skills in dysrhythmia management, ventilator care, anticoagulation therapy, and critical medication administration while supporting patients through their recovery journey.
