We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time locum tenens assignment providing anesthesia services in a non‑trauma hospital setting. This assignment is intended to backfill a full‑time position and is expected to extend beyond the initial 90‑day term.

The position requires flexibility in both work location and scheduling, including potential cross‑credentialing within a 60‑mile radius to support coverage needs across the regional network.

Schedule Details:

• Full‑time coverage required (3–4 weeks per month; no exceptions)
• Flexible scheduling model:
  • 5 x 8‑hour shifts, and/or
  • 4 x 10‑hour shifts
• Day shifts only
• No call responsibilities

The CRNA must be comfortable working independently as a sole provider and adapting to varying case mixes and workflows.

Case Types Include:

• Orthopedics
• General surgery
• Endoscopy

Procedural Skills Utilized:

• Ultrasound‑guided regional anesthesia (USGRA)
• Spinal anesthetics (SAB)
• Lower extremity blocks
• Central line placement
• Future involvement with SRNAs anticipated

Current CRNA certification
Active South Carolina CRNA license (required)
Ability to function independently as a CRNA‑only provider

Broad anesthesia skill set across inpatient surgical services
Epic EMR experience preferred
