Supplier / Customer Quality Contact
Supplier / Customer quality contact for assigned production areas including Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR), Corrective Action (CAR), and Supplier Corrective Action (SCAR) resolution Customer/Supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) coordination and submittal/approval. Participate in cross-functional problem solving teams (CIP) and lead teams in quality improvement initiatives. Conduct/Lead designed experiments, capability study analysis, and Measurement System Analysis (MSA). Aid in component and tooling/fixture design and improvement.
Gaging, testing, and inspection of materials. Update company quality documents on an as needed basis. This includes Process Flow, PFMEA, and Control Plan documents. Conduct quality-related training of company personnel. Provide direction to Quality Technicians as needed. Ability and willingness to travel 25%.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Four year Engineering degree preferred; BSME preferred. Experience working in a QS-9000/TS-16949 environment. Strong background in statistics a plus.
