Assistant Manager II

Family Dollar - 4250 W Beltline Blvd - Responsibilities:
Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities;
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns;
Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas;
Perform opening and closing procedures;
Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities;
Maintain promotional storefront fixtures and displays;
Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling, and cash deposits/receipts;
Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards;
Protect and secure store assets including cash;
Adhere to policies and procedures including safety guidelines;
Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates;
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store, including restrooms and floors;
Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff;
Other duties as assigned
