Juvenile Detention Security Officer

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures at a government location, including access control activities for staff, visitors, and authorized vendors;
Monitor entrances and exits, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access while following post orders and established protocols;
Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership and/or emergency contacts as appropriate;
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity and support a controlled environment;
Document visitor activity, access-related events, and daily observations, and communicate clearly with staff, residents, and the public regarding location rules and entry requirements
