** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

+ Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant security-related activity.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Support visitor processing, maintain access logs and/or related records, and communicate professionally with staff, contractors, and members of the public regarding site rules and procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + A current DPSS/DHS tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required.

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
