In this role, you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and security-related policies at an industrial location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to production, warehouse, and restricted areas.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, with activities varying based on site conditions.

+ Document daily activity, access-related events, and unusual observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
