Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a government corrections location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts according to post instructions;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns;
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and support movement control procedures for people, vehicles, and deliveries as directed by site policies;
Communicate with supervisors, staff, and public agency representatives regarding unusual activity, operational concerns, and security-related issues observed during the shift
