As an Access Control Security Professional with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor entry points, verify access, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, visitors, youth residents, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals to appropriate locations within the government facility.

+ Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while promptly communicating observations to site leadership and emergency personnel as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, parking areas, building perimeters, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

+ Prepare clear, accurate reports of access activity, incidents, unusual conditions, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

+ Have customer service experience preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
