** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, visitors, youth, and authorized partners by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, visitor processing areas, and access points; verify authorization, maintain required logs, and direct individuals according to facility procedures.

+ Help to deter unauthorized entry and prohibited items by screening visitors and coordinating access requests in accordance with established protocols.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including the perimeter, while reporting access-control concerns, hazards, and unusual activity.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
