As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver courteous service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Job Schedule:

Day Time Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate facility personnel and public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
