** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Monitor access points at a chemical and petrochemical location, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.

+ Control access for deliveries, contractors, and authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements, including directing visitors to designated check-in areas.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations through established channels.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

+

Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
