** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, visitors, staff, and youth by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Monitor entry and exit points; verify credentials, authorize access in accordance with established procedures, and maintain visitor and access records.

+ Respond to incidents, unauthorized access attempts, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Assist with maintaining orderly access to government facility areas while treating all individuals with professionalism, respect, and discretion.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
