Utility Lighting Installer

Gregory Electric is seeking a Utility Lighting Installer to join our field team installing and maintaining outdoor and site lighting across the Southeast. In this role, you will help build and service pole lighting, area lighting, and related electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include reading plans, installing conduit and wire, mounting fixtures, troubleshooting issues, and operating tools and lifts while following strict safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair utility and site lighting systems on construction and infrastructure projects.
• Read and interpret plans, diagrams, and specifications to lay out lighting and power runs.
• Pull wire, install conduit, mount fixtures, and make terminations to meet code and company standards.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts/bucket trucks safely and efficiently.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve lighting and electrical issues in the field.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety policies, including PPE use and job site housekeeping.
• Work as part of a crew, communicating effectively with foremen, electricians, and other trades.
• Document work performed and report material, equipment, or safety needs to supervision.
• Travel to varying job sites across the region as assigned and work in outdoor conditions.
