Maintenance Technician

Education + Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent; trade school or skilled trades training preferred
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Experience using electrical test equipment, measuring instruments, and hand tools
- Must provide own mechanic's tools
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in an active industrial environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Job Duties:
- Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
- Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems ranging from 24
VDC controls to 480
VAC three-phase equipment - Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance schedules with production leaders
- Assist with installing, relocating, and upgrading machinery and plant equipment
- Maintain facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, and grounds maintenance
- Support safety initiatives, including lockout/tagout procedures, confined space requirements, and emergency lighting inspections
- Maintain inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and repair materials
- Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
