Maintenance Technician II

Join Technetics Group as a Maintenance Technician II and help keep our manufacturing operations safe, reliable, and ready to deliver. In this hands-on role, you will use your multi-craft maintenance experience to restore equipment, reduce downtime, and strengthen equipment reliability across the site.

The Maintenance Technician II independently performs preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and utilities. This role diagnoses and resolves moderate-to-high-complexity mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues; selects effective repair methods within established protocols; documents work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); and supports continuous improvement and root-cause activities.

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, including equipment inspections, adjustments, and repairs, on production equipment, facilities, utilities, and related support systems.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failures, including intermittent or multi-system issues.

• Respond to equipment breakdowns with urgency and restore equipment to service safely and efficiently.

• Select maintenance methods and repair techniques within established practices, recognizing when additional support or escalation is required.

• Document maintenance work accurately in the CMMS, including repair actions, parts used, equipment status, and known root-cause information.

• Identify and communicate equipment risks, spare parts needs, reliability concerns, and improvement opportunities before failures occur.

• Perform root-cause analysis and support preventive maintenance improvements, reliability initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.

• Coordinate maintenance work with production, engineering, quality, safety, contractors, vendors, and other internal partners.

• Support equipment installation, commissioning, upgrades, and modifications to ensure safe and reliable operation.

• Provide guidance or training to maintenance technicians or less experienced colleagues as business needs require.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment and comply with Lockout/Tagout, PPE, environmental, and other applicable requirements.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

• Three to five years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Demonstrated experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

• Ability to independently manage moderate-to-high-complexity maintenance tasks and repairs within established protocols.

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, meters, diagnostic tools, and industrial maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
