EMCOR Group - - Responsibilities:
Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves by load weight/size;
Attach pulley/blocks to fixed overhead structures;
Attach load with grappling devices to crane hook;
Direct Crane Operator via hand signals/telephone;
Set up/brace/rig hoisting equipment;
Splice rope/wire cables to make/repair slings;
Coordinate equipment/material movement by signals;
Rate information using measurable standards;
Detect and respond to dangerous conditions;
Regular attendance required
