Job Duties:
* The APS Compliance Coordinator serves as a statewide APS Policy Alignment Coach. Provide high quality technical assistance to Adult Protective Services frontline staff through coaching, mentoring and modeling for the purpose of improving the consistency, quality, and alignment with policy of casework. Use the collection, monitoring and analysis of data to identify problem areas in casework and makes recommendations for improvement.
Provide frontline staff with strategies, tools and resources for practice improvement. Monitor website for consistency and accuracy.
* Provide high quality technical assistance to Adult Protect ice Services frontline staff through coaching, mentoring and modeling for the purpose of of improving the consistency, quality and alignment with policy of casework by conducting qualitative practice reviews both at the state and local level.
* Use case review findings and data reports, develop practice improvement strategies, tools and other resources, and work with staff to implement strategies, tools and resources, and monitor outcomes.
* Oversee the APS peer review process including assigning cases, collecting, and analyzing the results and providing feedback to case manager and peer reviewer.
* Analyze and interpret data for the purpose of identifying and diagnosing problems or barriers to achieving outcomes by monitoring data reports provided by ADR, batch reports from CAPSS and other data sources.
* Research, develop, and analyze best practice innovations to strengthen casework practice, knowledge, skills and competencies for Adult Protective Services staff using NAPSA, APS Tarc and other Adult Protective Services national resources and distribute to staff through the ComPASS Navigator Policy, Practice and Training Updates.
* Assist with the development of tools and collection of data to improve practice by using results from peer reviews, qualitative practice reviews, and other data collection to identify areas of improvement.
* Assist with the development of Division goals, measures and objectives and reporting on the division's process.
* Monitor website for consistency and accuracy.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of professional experience in social service programs, education, program administration/management or relevant program experience.
A Master's Degree and one (1) year of professional experience in social service programs, education, program administration/management or relevant program experience.
