Our client is a leading manufacturer of engineered molded foam components, protective packaging, and multi-material assembly solutions serving customers across automotive, construction, medical, electronics, and other industrial markets.

With eight manufacturing facilities across the U.S. and Mexico, the company combines engineering expertise, operational excellence, and customer-focused innovation to solve complex manufacturing challenges.

• As Plant Controller, you ll serve as the financial leader for the facility while acting as a strategic business partner to plant leadership, sales, operations, and corporate finance.
• Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Driving cost accounting, inventory accuracy, and standard costing
• Analyzing labor, material, overhead, and manufacturing variances
• Supporting pricing decisions through product cost and margin analysis
• Partnering with operations to improve productivity, reduce waste, and increase profitability
• Monitoring KPIs and providing actionable financial insight
• Supporting capital investment decisions and ROI analysis
• Maintaining strong internal controls and financial compliance
• Leading monthly financial reviews with plant leadership
• This is a highly visible role where your recommendations directly influence operational and commercial decisions.

• We re interested in professionals who bring:
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Manufacturing finance or cost accounting experience
• Strong understanding of inventory, standard costing, and margin analysis
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
• CPA or CMA designation is a plus
• Most importantly, we re looking for someone who enjoys partnering with operations rather than simply reporting numbers.

This position is based onsite in either:

• Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee

Occasional travel between facilities may be required.
