** The King's Daughters' School
** is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to create a positive, goal-oriented learning environment for students with developmental disabilities.## Position Highlights
* Work alongside a classroom assistant in a supportive team environment
* ** No IEP writing required** – dedicated staff handles all IEP documentation
* Focus on what you do best: teaching and connecting with students
* 1:4 Staff/student ratio
* Monday-Friday schedule (40 hours/week)##
Key Responsibilities
* Create a warm, inviting classroom that promotes student success
* Develop and implement individualized goals using formal and informal assessments
* Collect student progress data and adjust instruction accordingly
* Mentor classroom assistants and model best practices
* Manage classroom behavior using evidence-based techniques## Qualifications## Requirements
* TN Teaching License with SPED endorsement
* Must pass background checks and drug screen
* Ability to lift 40 lbs., kneel/bend for extended periods, and respond quickly in emergencies.
* TB skin test required upon hire## Benefits Package
