Classroom Coordinator-Art and PE

This mission-focused role involves working with students ages 7-22 with developmental disabilities, supporting their journey toward independence and skill development. The position offers dynamic, hands-on experience in special education settings, with opportunities for creative problem-solving and meaningful relationship-building.

Shift-Mon-Fri 7am-3pm

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and lead Art and PE classes that inspire student engagement and achievement.

Manage your dedicated classroom space with autonomy and adaptive scheduling based on program needs.

Create personalized lesson plans using student assessments and data-driven approaches to maximize learning outcomes.

Utilize advanced data collection systems to track student advancement and inform instructional decisions.

Provide guidance and professional modeling for classroom assistants while maintaining high standards of practice.

What we need from you:

Bachelor's degree required (any field, but bonus points if it matches your focus area)
Valid Driver's license required

Physical stamina (you'll be active, not stuck in a chair)
Able to pass drug screen and background checks (no felonies, no abuse, assault, or neglect convictions)
Dependable- a consistent routine is important for our clients
