Electrical and Controls Engineer JN

Electrical & Controls Engineer coordinates closely with the Engineering and Operations staff to design, validate, commission, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems for automated food processing lines and equipment. The qualified candidate will be involved from initial concept through the entire life cycle of production lines and equipment featuring state of the art PLC-based controls with HMI panels.

• Use AutoCAD Electrical to create schematics, layouts, IO lists, BOM, and P&IDs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, key suppliers, and clients.
• Travel 10‑20% (foreign and domestic) for customer support.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting skills in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and combustion control systems.

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience in automated machinery design and manufacturing.
• Experience with Ladder Logic programming.
• Strong communication skills, including technical writing.

Salary: $105,000 - $115,000.
