Sr. Mechanical Engineer
Our client, a leader in manufacturing and engineering solutions, is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting product development and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Columbia, Tennessee
Pay Range: $110,000 - $155,000
What's the Job?- Perform hands-on product design, analysis, and technical development for new machinery and technologies.
- Develop product requirements, specifications, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Create detailed CAD models and drawings using Autodesk Inventor, including Bills of Materials.
- Conduct tolerance analysis, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure project success.
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, preferably Autodesk Inventor, and experience with PDM systems like Vault.
- Strong analytical skills, including structural FEA using MSC Nastran or similar tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead and mentor team members.
