Our client, a leader in the food processing industry, is seeking a Control Engineer to join their team. As a Control Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent teamwork, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?- Design, validate, commission, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems for automated food processing lines and equipment.
- Develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts, IO lists, and P& using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Program PLCs using Rockwell Compact Logix and develop HMI interfaces with Panel View.
- Verify and validate safety circuits and program safety PLCs to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, safety, and efficiency.
- At least 3 years of experience in product development within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, methodologies, and processes.
- Proficiency in electrical schematics, Ladder logic programming, and AutoCAD Electrical.
- Experience with automated machinery design, manufacturing, and control systems.
- Excellent technical writing, documentation skills, and ability to analyze complex data.
