Therapy Technician Float Part-Time

Overview

This position is a part-time
, clinical position within Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance to Float to the Columbia, Lawrenceburg, and Spring Hill Clinics.

• Preparing equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
• Consistently demonstrate a professional, empathetic, service-oriented delivery of healthcare to patients and their families.
• Performing modalities such as applying hot pack, cold pack, e-stim, US, etc. as instructed.
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, as well as changing and laundering linens.
• Performing administrative tasks, including assisting with patient intake, answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.
• Ability to deliver clear and professional communication within the workplace to patients and staff.
• Performing therapeutic modalities and/or exercises while under the supervision of a licensed clinician according to ethical/legal guidelines, including knowledge of the precautions and contraindications.
