- Perform QC tests: binder content, viscosity, hardness, color, skid resistance, etc.
- Follow State DOT sampling protocols.
- Test and evaluate raw materials (resins, pigments, waxes).
- Assist with product development and production issues.
- Provide backup coverage for other QC staff.
- Sample melter.
- High school diploma (technical degree preferred).
- 1 year of manufacturing lab experience required (medical lab experience not accepted).
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in hot, dusty, noisy environments.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Lab and plant floor setting.
- Requires PPE, standing, lifting, and exposure to heat and noise.
- Uses lab instruments and standard office equipment.
