Summary:

This position's primary responsibilities will be to pick materials/ products in preparation of manufacturing needs, to guide

and assist in the overall materials needs from blue prints. The role will include lifting materials, finished products and packing

items, both manually and with the use of hoists.

Requirements:

• Ability to multitask, critical thinking, problem solving, strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience kitting parts
• Must be willing to work overtime when necessary to meet production deadlines.
• Must Acquire a forklift Certification
• Ability to remain standing while working the assigned schedule duration
• Kitter:
  Your position will include accurately picking, transferring, kitting/grouping parts and materials from a blueprint in area to be assembled by production team.

Education:

• High school Diploma or similar degree
• GED
• Basic computer skills (able to learn Traverse software)

Experience and Background:

• Demonstrate competency in basic shop math.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
• Flexible and responsive, with a strong teamwork orientation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge.
• Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed and continuous improvement.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others and to participate in a cross-functional team.

Physical Requirements

The majority of the job function is performed in a manufacturing setting requiring high degree of safety precautions.
