CNC Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machines and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.

- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on CNC machines.

- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules and protocols.

- Assist in the installation and setup of new CNC machinery.

- Collaborate with CNC operators and production staff to address machine-related issues.

- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs for all equipment.

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.

- Assist in training staff on basic machine maintenance and safety practices.

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CNC technology.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machine maintenance or a related field is preferred.

- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing CNC machines in a machine shop environment.

- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is a plus.

- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.

Physical Requirements:
